Gary Allan King was born August 5, 1982, in Sherman, TX and went to his heavenly home on Christmas day — December 25, 2023, in Denison, TX.
Gary Allan graduated from Sherman High School in 2000. While in high school, he left an indelible mark through his involvement in the agriculture program, fostering a passion for nurturing life that defined his journey. Joining Canyon Creek Pet Hospital as a sophomore in high school, he dedicated over two decades to caring for countless beloved pets and their owners as he managed the office with much pride.
In addition to his remarkable journey, Gary Allan exemplified perseverance, selflessness, and an infectious sense of humor that brightened even the darkest of days. His resilience in facing life's challenges was a testament to his unwavering spirit, a quality that inspired all who crossed his path. His selflessness knew no bounds, always putting others before himself, offering his support and a helping hand whenever needed.
His playful sense of humor brought laughter and joy to every moment, whether he was cracking jokes or indulging in his favorite pastime of good-naturedly teasing those around him. His love of light-hearted tormenting, wrapped in affection, created cherished memories that will forever echo in our shared stories.
Gary Allan was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and a true friend to all. His passion for life matched his unwavering love for the Dallas Cowboys. He cherished friend and family gatherings, where his laughter and warmth lit up his garage/man cave. His dedication to his team mirrored his commitment to those he held dear. His legacy of kindness, loyalty, and fervent fandom will forever live on in our hearts.
He is preceded in death by his brother Dustin King, grandparents Lonnie and Rosalie King of Durant and Dean and Wilma Foster of Mannsville.
He is survived by his parents Lynn (Ken) Williams of Denison and Gary (Karen) King of Denison, brother Garrison (Kadey) King of Sherman, sister Stacy Williams Rogers of Denison, grandparents David and Rosa Massey of Denison. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Post Oak Fellowship.
