Funeral services for Gaston Zarate,49 years old, of Mexico City, Mexico, will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, June 1, in the Chapel of Waldo Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12 pm to 2 pm prior to the service.

Mr. Zarate, 49 years old, of Mexico City, Mexico, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Gaston was born December 9, 1974, in Mexico City, Mexico. His parents were Juvenal Zarate and Hilaria Reyes.

He married Brenda Hernandez, August 11, 2008 in Mexico City. They had three children, Valerie, Paulina and Neida.

Gaston worked as a butcher in New York. He moved with his family to Sherman, Tx, 3 years ago.

He enjoyed playing and watching baseball. He was a New York Mets fan. His greatest joy was playing with his daughters and teaching them new things. He liked having good times with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Zarate and his daughters, Valerie, Paulina, and Neida Zarate, his father, Juvenal Zarate, his mother, Hilaria Reyes, and his brothers, Juvenal Zarate and Jose Guadalupe Zarate.
