On Monday, February 17, Ghada traded in her earthly body for heaven. She was surrounded by her family and people that loved her in the comfort of her home. Ghada was born November 23, 1971, the    daughter of Dr. Ibrahim Sarris and Soad El Fayoumi-Sarris.

Ghada loved good food, coffee, reading, binge watching great shows, cleaning and sarcastic one liners. Ghada's favorite role was being a mom and she loved her girls more than anything in the world.

Ghada graduated from Texas A&M University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Business Administration.  She worked in the medical industry for 35 years and was known for her excellence in management, operations and coordination.

Funeral Services for Ghada, age 53, of McKinney, Texas will be held at Waldo Funeral home on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery.

Ghada is preceded in death by her father, Ibrahim, and her brother, Omar.

Ghada is survived by her mother, Soad Sarris; her daughters, Myah and Yazmine Phillips and their father David Phillips; her sister, Ashley D'Amico; her brother, Hussein Sarris and many other family and friends who loved her.
