Anna Grace Holt, 95, passed away peacefully on May 5th, 2026

She was born on November 10th ,1930 to John and Sadie Rigsby in Olustee , Oklahoma. She grew up in Randolph, Texas and later moved to Sherman with her family where she met and married the love of her life on August 16th, 1952. While her husband was in the army, they lived in California before returning to Sherman to start a family.

She was a loving and devoted wife for 59 years before his passing.

She loved babies and would do anything for her children and grandchildren. She was also known for being stubborn, ornery and her love for George Jones music.

She will be loved and missed by many including daughters Reta Cooksey and Kimberly Danner, grandchildren Mark Cooksey, Crystal Snyder, Amber Defer, Justin North, Holly Otter, Keigan Danner, Sadie Midgette and Chelsea Yeargain, great grandchildren Sierra, Shiloh, Noah, Lana, Paiton, Ryleigh, Zelda, Nova and Waylon, great great grandchildren Lottie and William

She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings Lila, Faye, Charlene, Walter, Johnny, Martha, her spouse Tommy Holt, son Terry Holt and great grandchild Memphis Midgette.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm, Monday, May 11th, at Waldo Funeral Home Chapel.

A graveside service will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, May 12th, at Cedarlawn Memorial Park.

Pastor Jack Duipsman will officiate.
