Holly Lynn Smith, a lifelong resident of Whitesboro, Tx, passed away Tuesday July 3Oth 2024.

She was born January 17, 1974, in Nuremburg, Germany, to Robert Eugene and Mary Katherine (Moore) Smith. She was a graduate of Whitesboro High School and Grayson College.

Holly worked as a dental hygienist early in her career and was a hospital phone operator at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman, TX for many years.

She loved her cat Patches and had a lifelong love of animals. Holly had a smile that lit up a room and made friends wherever she went.

Even though suffering with MS for most of her adult life, she kept her sweet positive outlook.

Holly is survived by her parents Robert and Mary Smith of Whitesboro, TX, brothers, Dustin Smith of Bradford, PA, Jordan Smith of Whitesboro, TX, Caleb Smith of Whitesboro, TX, sisters, Amy Smith of Texarkana, TX, Erin Smith of Whitesboro TX, and son Nathaniel Smith of Sadler, TX.

She has many cousins and family and friends who will miss her.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, August 5th, 2024, at Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, TX.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, August 5th, 2024, at Waldo Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Brian Taylor of Forest Avenue Baptist Church will officiate.

The interment will be held at West Hill Cemetery.
