Hunter Dale Williams (Bud) of Sherman, Texas, was called to Heaven on January 1, 2025, at 18 years old.

He was born on January 18, 2006, in Sherman, TX, the son of Jeremy Williams and Misty Lemonds.

He enlisted in the Army National Guard on October 26, 2023, at the age of 17 years old.  After graduating from Sherman High School on May 24, 2024, he went to Fort Moore, Georgia, for basic training. He then graduated to become an infantry soldier on December 17, 2024.

Hunter loved fishing, playing video games, and motorcycles. He enjoyed working with his hands. He was adventurous and very creative.

Hunter was a loving and kind son, brother, uncle, and friend, who had a big heart and would do anything for anybody. He loved to joke around and make people laugh. He lived his life to the fullest and was able to accomplish the things he accomplished in a short time, before being called home at a young age.

He will leave a lasting mark on everyone lucky enough to know him and will be forever loved and missed.

Hunter is survived by his mom, Misty Lemonds, and father, Jeremy Williams; his two beautiful sisters, Caitlin Williams and Haley Williams; his niece, Katalina Dunn; his aunts, Ashley Pinacho, Gail Stanley, Talei Hinsley, and Shannon Hauber; his grandparents, Beverly Ann Montgomery and Louis Dale Williams; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandma, Viola Dunn (Trudy), and his uncle, David Bryan Cliffton.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 PM, on Wednesday, January 15th, at Waldo Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Thursday, January 16th, at Western Heights Church of Christ. Mitch Wiggains of Western Heights Church of Christ will officiate. Military honors and burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman.

Pallbearers will be Yasir Rodriguez, Hermis Zaldana, Carlos Paulin, Alair Barrientos, Melrenzo Orum, and Jonathan Echeverria.
