James David Taylor, 61, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. He was born January 7, 1964, in Sherman, Tx. He is the son of Billy Mac and Betty Taylor.

James enjoyed his work as a computer engineer. During his free time, he enjoyed teaching others about electronics, photography, and spending time with his family. After some time, he moved back home to help his mother and father on the family farm.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Taylor, brother, Bobby Taylor, niece, Kelsey King, nephew, Joshua Taylor, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Mac Taylor, sister-in-law Tina Taylor, and aunt Peggy Maples.

Visitation will be held 10 am Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the Valley Church of Christ in Gunter, TX, with the service to follow at 11 am. Burial will be at the Gunter Cemetery.
