Martha Jane Lehman, 90, of Sherman, passed away peacefully in her home on June 13, 2024.
Jane was born on August 19, 1933, in Muskogee, OK. She was the daughter of William and Betty Brandt. She attended Salem High school of Salem Illinois and graduated from Southern Oklahoma vocational school of nursing. She worked as a nurse for Wilson and Jones Hospital for over 40 years, once retired she dedicated her time to volunteering at the hospital and numerous ministries. Jane was a devoted Catholic and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and part of the Columbia Ladies Women Guild. Jane is predeceased by her late husband Leo Lehman, together they loved to travel and spend time with their family, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Survived by her daughter, Marcia Mccloure of Sherman, Tx and sons Chris Stephens of Lawton, Oklahoma and Frank Lehman(deceased), along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jane was predeceased by her parents; William and Betty Brandt, her brothers Michael(deceased), Jim(Deceased), and Tom Brandt of Niceville, Florida. Her late husband Leo Lehman and 1st husband James Stephens.
A Rosary Service will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at Waldo Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. June 19, 2024, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with graveside service to follow at St Mary's cemetery of Sherman.
