Janet Taylor Bean

September 18, 1947 - January 18, 2026

Janet Taylor was born on September 18, 1947, in Whitewright, Texas, at home, to William and Dollie Taylor. Jan passed away at age 78 on Sunday, January 18, in Denison, Texas. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tom Bean, seven brothers, and three sisters. She is survived by her children Raine Brown and her husband Billy Don, Billie Felker and her husband Doug, John Baker and his wife Lori, Donnie Bean and his wife Tammy, Twilla Bean and her husband Billy, grandchildren Cassie, Nathan, Shantel and Jerry, Matt and his wife Nikki, Kevin, Keith, Danielle her husband Chuck, Trevor his wife Cassie, Baylee and Logan. Great-grandchildren Kendsi, her husband Adrian, Alana, Taylor, Ainsley, Riley, Harley, Leon, Emily, Bodhi, Ivy, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jan started at Texas Instruments as the first female painter and rose through the ranks, working there for 35 years before retiring. She watched Star Trek and other sci-fi. She had a passion for bird watching. By the testimony of her children and grandchildren, she was the BEST MOM and GRANDMOTHER, the GOOD LORD could have given them. She will be in our hearts until we meet again in heaven and then forevermore.

The family will receive friends on February 6th, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, at Waldo Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 pm at Cedar Cemetery.
