Funeral services for Jean Lively, age 92, of Sherman, TX will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, August 22, 2011 at the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the West Hill Cemetery in Sherman, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home.

Jean passed away on August 19, 2011 at the Stonebrook Assisted Living Center in Denison, TX.

She was born in Tulsa, OK on April 22, 1919 the daughter of William and Lena McCleskey Stone. Jean married Lt. Col. Richard Lively on January 25, 1942 and he preceded her in death on February 3, 1978. Jean was retired from M&P Bank where she was a Trust Officer for many years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Sherman. Jean enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Lively of Denison, TX, son, Richard Lively of Pittsburg, PA, five grandchildren, Gina Little and husband Jack of Pottsboro, TX, Jason Tune and wife Stephanie of Port St.Lucie, FL, Amber Tune of Dallas, TX, Amanda Hidenach and husband Brian of Wyoming, MI and Brean Kennedy of Rockford, MI, six great grandchildren and one sister Judi Crawford of Tulsa, OK.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Susan Diane Kennedy and great granddaughter, Brooklyn Tune.

The pallbearers will be Richard Lively, Jason Tune, Jack Little, Brice McGehee and Keith Hargis.
