Jeffery Anthony Bryant, born August 2, 1966, in Lynwood, California, passed away on September 12, 2026, at the age of 60. He was living in Van Alstyne, Texas, at the time of his passing and was surrounded by his loved ones.
Jeffery grew up in Lynwood, California, and throughout his life was never afraid of hard work. Over the years, he worked in the oil field, he was a truck driver, welder, and correctional officer. Outside of work, Jeffery enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, singing, and listening to music. He was courageous, honorable, and fearless—qualities that he carried with him throughout his life. Jeffery had a strong presence and an even stronger dedication to the people he cared about. He believed in taking care of those around him and was always willing to lend a hand when someone needed it. His family and friends knew they could turn to him not only for help, but also for guidance. He had a way of looking at situations clearly and offering advice that was straightforward, meaningful, and came from a place of genuine care. A Celebration of Life honoring Jeffery will be held on October 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Waldo Funeral Home – Family Center, 619 N. Travis St., Sherman, Texas 75090. Family and friends are encouraged to bring any photographs of Jeffery that they would like to share as we gather to remember and celebrate his life. Finger foods and refreshments will be provided.
