Jeremy Michael Edwards, age 41 of Dorchester, Texas passed away suddenly on May 16, 2024, in Sherman.
Jeremy was born on November 9, 1982, in Anchorage, Alaska. He graduated high school in Anchorage, Alaska and then graduated from Career Academy College in Alaska as a Travel Agent. He started his trucking career at Carlile Trucking at 18 and was the youngest driver to get an award for one million miles. He also got 3rd place in Carlisle Trucking competition. Jeremy Married Sabrina Pennington on August 30, 2003, in Eagle River, Alaska. He loved music, guitars, fishing in Alaska, classic movies, calligraphy, rock hunting, football, especially the 49ers, playing guitar and writing music with his daughter Meadow. Some of his favorite memories were made playing video games with his son Elijah, playing football with his son Mosis and having his youngest son Chozen be his shadow while he worked outside building beautiful furniture. He also loved writing poetry and most of all he loved God, his family, and spending time with them as well as his wife. He also loved his father Michael Edwards very much.
Jeremy is survived by his wife, Sabrina Edwards, daughter, Meadow Mariah Edwards, threes son's, Elijah Jeremiah Edwards, Mosis Guy Maciah Edwards ,Chozen Charles Adoniah Edwards, mother, Suzette Dooley and husband Bob, sisters, Mary Christine Whiteside, Melissa Vidales, Marjorie Sperry, Michelle Hobart and Crystal Dooley Douglas, brothers, John Gomes, and Shane Michael Edwards as well as several other half brothers and sisters. He is also survived by his grandmother, Lynne Sharon Rogers, mother-in-law, Denise Pennington, father-in-law, Rick Pennington and brother-in-law, Jesse Pennington as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Alan Edwards, grandparents, Sidney Jean and Diane Reed, Eleanor and Leon Snider, Phil Rogers and Mary Winters.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 25th at the First Baptist Church in Dorchester, Texas.
