Joan Mary Lockart, 87 years old, of Sherman, TX, passed from this life May 30, 2024, in Sherman TX.

Joan was born November 05, 1936, in Harrisburg, PA. She was a daughter of William Clarence and Mary (Cybulski) Bronson. She married Harold Lockhart. She was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lockhart, her parents, William Clarence and Mary Bronson, son, Robert J. Lockhart, grandson, Robert J. Lockhart Jr., and 4 siblings.

Surviving are daughter, Patty Bokemeyer of Cleveland, TX, brother, Ed Bronson of Laporte, TX, granddaughters, Star Lockhart of Sherman, TX,  Jean Fulton and husband, Shawn of Telephone, TX, Christina Lessard and husband, Josh of Phoenix, AZ, other grandchildren, Amanda, Michael and Steven, great granddaughters, Kandi Deal, Makena Deal, both of Sherman, great-great granddaughter, Paislei Kuczynski of Sherman, Nieces and nephews, LeeAnn Hook, Mike Hook, both of Houston, TX,  and Donna Hart of Pasadena, TX,

She is also survived by a multitude of other Cousins, aunts, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She will be buried with her son, Robert, at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery in Houston at a later date.
