John Richard Stogner, 88, passed away February 5, 2026, at Texoma Medical Center Hospital. John was born November 22, 1937, in Garber, Oklahoma and he is the son of Claude Carlisle (Carl) Stogner and Velma May Taylor Mayton. He married Billy (Doll) Stonebarger in 1969, and she preceded him in death on August 23, 2016.

John was a long-time contractor, installing commercial flooring. He spent most of his life as a resident of Denison, Texas and was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church. John has a large family that loves him very much.

Survivors include his brother, Roy Gene Stogner, daughter Donna Ray Parkhill, daughter-in-law, Roxieann Stogner, grandsons Michael and Ronald Jr., granddaughters Angela, Sarah and Jamie and stepson Keith Morrison, step granddaughter Krista, step grandsons Shawn Shane, Justin and Robert. Also, survived by numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. John is preceded in death by his parents Claude and Velma, his wife Doll, daughters Deborah and Melinda and son Ronald Sr., brothers Don, Jerry and Jackie, sister Mary Lee, and stepson Tommy Morrison.

Memorial Service were held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Trinity Fellowship Church, 101-US-69, Denison, Texas.
