John Hernandez Troxel, 59, of Sherman, passed away Friday, May 27 ^th , in his residence.

He was born July 15, 1962, in Bowling Green, Ohio. The son of Nina Almazan and stepson to Noe Almazan.

He was a copier technician for many years and enjoyed all sports. His passion was football and was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan.

Preceding him in death is his wife, Debbie Troxel, parents Nina and Noe Almazan, brother Noe Almazan.

He is survived by his daughter Erica McBride (James McBride), son Julian "Bubba" Gonzales (Maggie Gonzales), son Freedom Demoure, grandchildren Leo and Vivian Marquez, brother Jody Troxel, and sister Michelle Hernandez.

Family will receive friends and family, 6 to 8 pm, Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Waldo Funeral home in Sherman.
