Obituary

Johnathan Wayne Cerra (39) a resident of Kingston, Oklahoma, departed from this world on January 2, 2025, in McKinney, Texas.

Johnathan was born on May 30, 1985, in Modesto, California and was raised in Oklahoma/Texas. He attended Denison High School from 2001-2004. He served in the US Army and was deployed to fight in Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2007-2009.

He was preceded in death by his Pop, Tom Cerra. He leaves behind his beloved daughters Katelynn and Jordan Cerra, grandson Elijah Cerra, brother Brett (Cynthia) Cerra and nephews Daxton and Zayden Cerra all of Denison; Mother Michele (Randy) Goracke of Bells; brother Eric Cerra of Victoria, nephew Renzlee Cerra of Tom Bean, Numerous extended, bonus, adopted family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Johnathan's honor to your favorite charity.

Memorial Visitation will be at Waldo Funeral Home January 13, 2025, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 2 p.m. at West Hill Cemetery Pavilion. Brian Taylor will be officiating.
