Funeral Mass for Jose S.Rico, age 70 will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday March 21, 2024, at St Mary's Catholic Church in Sherman, Texas.

He passed away on March 13th, 2024, in Sherman, Texas.

Jose is survived by his sons Joe Rico Jr, Ralph H. Rico, daughter Angie Rico, one grandchild Jason Hernandez, two daughter-in laws Alma Garcia & Carolina Rendon, one brother Esteban, two sisters Adela and Maximina.

Born on December 9, 1953, in Tierrafria, Guanajuato to Jose Rico Convento and Maria del Carmen Sanchez. Jose grew up in Tierrafria, where he would meet his wife, Cristina Torres. Together they embarked on a life journey that led them to Prosper Tx where they would raise their three children.

Jose was a hardworking man and started his Construction Clean-Up company alongside his son Ralph. He was the kind of person who would help anyone who needed it, that's just the kind of guy he was. For many years Jose worked in the construction clean up business. Jose would later retire and move back to his hometown of Tierrafria, Guanajuato and frequently come back to Texas.

Jose will be greatly missed but always in our hearts. He is now with the lord and reunited in heaven with his wife.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman.
