Graveside Services for Joseph Farah Ghneim, age 85, of Sherman, Texas will be held at the West Hill Cemetery Outdoor Chapel on Friday, October 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.

Joseph passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024 in Sherman, Texas.

He was born April 4, 1939, in Haifa, Palestine the son of Farah Ghneim and Deya Saab. He was an avid reader, gardener, and a mean card player.  He was the most personable human you could meet; he did not know a stranger.  He never sat still; he didn't want to stop learning. He was a Marine Insurance expert, a sales rep, a realtor, social worker/companion, and friend to everyone. He was a fierce lover of his family and lived to make others happy.

Joseph is preceded in death by his parents (Farah Ghneim and Deya Saab) of Haifa and his brother Fouad Ghneim of Greece.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years Samira, his sons Farah, Fadi of Sherman, Ramzi and wife Lori, and grandson Joseph (named after his Jido, Joseph the Great) of McKinney; his brothers Fowzi and his family of Plano, Farouk and his family of Plano, sisters Ferial Hyde of England, and Fayzeh Ghneim of Egypt.
