IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Julio Aguilar
Iv
January 2, 2000 – July 21, 2025
Julio Aguilar IV was born in Lufkin, Texas January 2, 2000, to Julio Aguilar III and Jenny Enedina Garcia. Julio was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend who loved deeply and lived with a full heart. Julio loved his family and friends, never hesitating to show them love. His hugs are unforgettable—his long arms would wrap around you with warmth and a grip that held on. From the young age of four, he was passionate about sports—especially soccer and basketball. He began playing with the Texoma Soccer Association as both a child and an adult. He also played basketball with Upward Sports, later joining select soccer and basketball teams where his dedication truly shined. Even in his free time, you could find him at the gym or on an open field. He was a proud 2019 graduate of Sherman High School.
Julio had a special love for food, wherever there was food, you could count on Julio to be nearby—whether it was Thanksgiving dinners, family cookouts, or casual gatherings with friends. He loved his mothers spaghetti, especially cherished the fajita cookouts hosted by his Grandma Licha and Teto Erly, and he never passed up his Grandma Ana's famous lasagna—often requested by him personally. Julio always showed up with a big appetite and an even bigger smile.
Julio grew up faithfully attending Iglesia Nueva Creación, where his faith flourished. It was in this nurturing environment that his love, kindness, and gentleness began to blossom, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. With a heart full of compassion, he was always quick to offer a warm smile, hug, kiss, and words of encouragement. His goodness was unmistakable, and he carried himself with quiet strength, genuine warmth, and sincere humility. A prophecy once spoken over Julio declared that the Lord would use him to impact many lives—and indeed, that is exactly what came to pass.
He is survived by his father, Julio Aguilar III, and his mother, Jenny Enedina Garcia and Elisandro; his sisters, Jazmyne Elaine Aguilar and Jessa Emma Aguilar; his grandparents Carmen and Erly Cruz, Ana and Julian Bermudez, Julio Aguilar Jr. and Lucero Aguilar. He is also survived by his aunts (tías) Jean Reyna, Jessica Johnson, Diana Aguilar, Melissa Aguilar, and Lila Casanova; his uncles (tíos) Hector Bermudez, Rogelio Ramirez, and Antonio Aguilar; along with many beloved cousins.
Forever Loved, Always in Our Hearts
Julio will be remembered for his joyful spirit, generous heart, and the deep, lasting connections he shared with his family and friends.
