Kaye Nel Martin, 79, passed away on July 7, 2026.

Kaye was a kind, loving, and sweet woman whose life was a blessing to those who knew her. She loved her family deeply and found great joy in caring for them. Whether through a warm meal, or the simple comfort of her presence, Kaye had a special way of making others feel loved.

Cooking was one of the many ways she shared her heart. Her excitement in sharing recipes that she loved endured to the very end. It was her way of expressing the love she so freely gave. More than anything, Kaye loved her family and the moments they shared.

Kaye’s faith in Jesus Christ was a meaningful part of her life. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is at peace with her Savior and that the love, kindness, and faith she lived out will continue through those who loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Carl Martin; her daughter, Rhonda Avants and husband Brad; her sons, Jason Martin and wife Lisa, and Brandon Martin and wife Dawn; and her grandchildren, Hannah-Marie, Addison, Samuel, Albany, Avery, Gina, and Tony.

Kaye will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by her family and friends.
