Graveside Services for Larry Swindle, age 74, of Sherman, Tx, will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, at 8:00AM at West Hill Cemetery Pavilion. Larry passed away Monday, August 5, 2024, in Denison, Texas.

He was born October 13, 1949, the son of Loyd Leslie Swindle and Clara Mae Wester Swindle. Larry was in the Army and served in Vietnam from 1971 - 1972. He was a Sherman Police Officer and served for 26 years. Larry married the love of his life on September 7, 2000, at Forest Avenue Baptist Church in Sherman, Texas.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents Loyd and Clara Swindle, wife Carolyn Stice Swindle, stepson Dow Neal, grandson Toby Swindle and sister-in-Law Donna Swindle.

Larry is survived by wife Shirley Swindle, daughter Laura Harrell, son Jeff Swindle and wife April Swindle, stepdaughter Corie Palya, brother Jerry Swindle, sister Patty Swindle, daughter-in-law Trenna Neal, grandchildren Delton Swindle, Cloe Swindle, Blaze Fajerson, Lanie Fajerson, Ryan Fajerson, Dakotah Mahan, Haylee Mahan, Eli Mahan, Kendra Neal, Jarrell Guess, five great grandchildren and one on the way.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Fajerson, Dakotah Mahan, Eli Mahan and Delton Swindle.
