Laura Mae Hall, 72, of Sherman, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, March 11th, 2025, in Sherman, Texas.
Laura Mae Hall was born on August 12th, 1952, in Sherman, Texas to her parents Eugene and Opal Stockbridge. Her siblings were her brother, Larry Stockbridge and sisters, Ann Gibbs, Nona Ruth Davis, and Autry Stockbridge. Laura attended the Fred Douglass School and graduated from Sherman High School.
On September 16, 1978, Laura married the love of her life Melvin Hall in Sherman, Texas. She worked at Texas Instruments for 14 years. Laura's creativity knew no bounds. She had a profound love for painting beautiful ceramics. Her artistic flair extended to making various arts and crafts. She also had a special fondness for jewelry, which complemented her vibrant personality. She also had a passion for cooking and loved to cook delicious meals for her family and church.
Laura was baptized at Greater New Hope Church. Later in life, she joined Grace Community Church of Trenton.
Laura was proceeded in death by her parents Eugene and Opal Stockbridge, her sister, Nona Ruth Davis, her brother, Larry Stockbridge, and her beloved daughter, Kimberly Stockbridge.
Laura is survived by her husband Melvin Hall, her daughter Syreeta Hall, her cherished granddaughters, Autumn and Leah Hall, her sisters, Ann Gibbs and Autry Stockbridge, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A public visitation will be Thursday, March 20th from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Waldo Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be Friday, March 21st at 11 A.M. at Waldo Funeral Chapel with Rev. Edwin Slack pastor of the Grace Community Church of Trenton officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman.
