Lena M. O'Brien, age 82 of Sherman, Texas passed away on March 10, 2023 in Denison, Texas.

She was born on January 30, 1941 in Trenton, Texas to G.P. and Wennie Jernigan Pannell.

Lena worked for Prices Department Store, Vaughn's Department Store, The Collegiate Shoppe, The Vogue, Murray Lighting and lastly she worked for the City of Sherman as a clerk in the Water Department.

She married Bob O'Brien on April 16, 1983 in Sherman. He preceded her in death on January 1, 1995.

Lena is survived by her daughter, Lee Ann Franks and husband James of Denison, son, Scott Overman and wife Danyne of Denison, grandchildren, Britney, Carrie, Breeonna and Ashley, half-sister, Dani Sue Rae of Azel, Texas.

Public viewing will be on Tuesday, March 14th 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM .

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 15 ^th at the Friendship Cemetery in Sherman.
