Obituary

Lendon "Dean" Hall of Tom Bean, Texas completed his life's journey to be with our Lord and Savior on January 25th, 2024. Dean, born in Vaughn, Arkansas to Thomas Bryan and Lottie Hall, was 87 years old.

Dean was a dedicated and loving family man who made a point of actively participating in the lives of those he loved, whether it was attending sporting events to watch his grandchildren or traveling long distances to visit faraway family and friends. Dean established strong ethics for his sons by walking a narrow path; he led by example, and it was easy to follow his life lessons.

He was preceded by his parents, his brothers William Hall and Roy Hall and sisters Loretta Brannum and LaVerna James.

Dean is survived by his wife, Helen, brother Thomas, his sons Jeffrey Hall and his fiancé Shannon Williams, Darrell Hall, and his wife Yvonne Mamallo. His grandchildren Jessica and her husband Aaron, Monica, Lindsey, Jarrett, and Erik as well as three great grandchildren; Alexander, Elliott, and Andi as well as nieces, nephews, and many other family members and friends.

Dean, a Vietnam Service Veteran, served in the United States Air Force and retired after 20+ years of patriotic service. Dean also retired from Texas Instruments after 20 years of dedicated employment.

Waldo Funeral Home of Sherman will conduct graveside services, at the pavilion of West Hill Cemetery at 2pm on February 2nd, 2024, with full military honors. Pastor Jack Duitsman will conduct the service.

The family is thankful for the care and comfort provided by Texoma Healthcare Center and Hospice Plus, both of Sherman.

NOTE: Your map application will get you to West Hill but may not show the location of the pavilion. It is located on the South side of West Hill. Take D Street to find the pavilion between 23rdth and 24th Streets.
