Linda Jane Clinton passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 76 at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas, after an extended hospital stay.

She is survived by her husband Tom Elliott of Sherman, Texas; sisters Jean Guess, Carolyn Adams (Roy), and Joyce Rogers, all of Hattiesburg, MS.  She had numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.  Her parents Rankin and Lucy Clinton and three brothers preceded her in death.

Jane was born in Hattiesburg, MS on August 4, 1947, at Methodist Hospital.  She received her B.A. from William Carey University and her Master of Social Work from the University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg, MS.  Her entire career in social work was spent in hospitals, behavioral health centers and managed care.

During her 27 years of marriage to Tom, they enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and abroad.

A memorial service will held Saturday, November 18th at Waldo Funeral Chapel at 10:00AM.  The family will gather with friends and family following the service at the Waldo Family Center located next door to the Chapel.
