Lynda Diane Dove Smith's Obituary
Funeral services for Lynda Diane Dove Smith, age 60, of Sherman, TX will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, September 28, 2009 at the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Stan McNutt of the Liberty Lighthouse Church will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman.
Lynda passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at her residence in Sherman.
She was born on August 4, 1949, in Corsicana, TX the daughter of L.G. and Wilma Ragsdale Dove. Lynda loved helping people. She donated time and more to the Disabled Veterans Association, neighbors and anyone who needed her. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Lynda is survived by her son, Steve Bunger and wife Annie of Prosper, TX, daughter, Stephanie Blake and husband John of Sherman, TX, four grandchildren, Braden W. Bunger, Josiah E. Blake, Jude A. Blake and Jossalyn D. Blake, brother, Leland Dove and wife Nancy of Bedford, TX. She is also survived by her lifelong friend Terry Starkey of Sherman, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Robert Andrew Smith.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman.
