Lynda R. Meadville, 84 years old, of McKinney, formerly of Sherman, died Tuesday, July 23rd, 2024.

She was born November 18th, 1939, in Caddo, Oklahoma, to Ora and Dessie (Stonebarger) Draper. She graduated from Durant High School.

On August 17th, 1956, she married Jack Meadville in Durant, Oklahoma. They were married for 61 years until his death in 2018.

Lynda was a homemaker but had worked at Grayson County 4H and Jack and Jen Day Care. She was a member of West Sherman Baptist Church. She proudly traveled the world as an Air Force wife for 25 years.

She enjoyed sewing and needlecraft, Christmas and family celebrations.

Preceding her in death are her husband, Jack Meadville, her parents, Ora and Dessie Draper, sisters, Bettie Owens and Helen Powell, and brother, O.B. Draper.

She is survived by daughters, Jacque Lynn Joiner of Sherman, Connie Jean Williams and husband Eddie of Van Alstyne, TX, Ginger P. Kennedy and husband Timothy of Carrolton, TX; grandchildren, Beau Williams and wife Sara, Lindsey Williams, Jamison Joiner and wife Kelsey and Jackson Kennedy; great grandchildren, Ty and Ainsley Williams, and James, Hammond, Henry and Katherine Joiner.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, Friday, July 26th, 2024, at Waldo Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, July 26th, 2024, at Waldo Funeral Home Chapel with Griff Servati officiating. Immediately after the service, entombment will be at the Chapel of Memories in Cedarlawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Williams, Tim Kennedy, Beau Williams, Jamison Joiner, Jackson Kennedy, and Ty Williams.
