Margaret Erdos Cain, age 90, transitioned peacefully to the embrace of her Lord on Thursday, January 25, 2024. Born on December 4, 1933, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Joseph and Margaret (Kirkesz) Erdos, Margaret's journey through life was marked by love, resilience, and a deep connection to family.

Her roots were nurtured in Louisiana, where she met the love of her life and future husband, Jennings Clyde Cain. They shared the joy of raising their daughter, the late Sonya Rene Franklin, and many blissful years until Jennings' peaceful departure in 1976.

Following this, Margaret and Sonya Rene made their home in Houston, Texas, where Margaret shared her amazing cooking and cheerfulness with a community of friends she would think of as family for years to come. Margaret loved to be outdoors, fishing, gardening, barbecuing, and reveling in the beauty of God's creation.

In commemorating her life, we fondly remember and celebrate her joyful spirit and unparalleled charm. She leaves behind a legacy of laughter and a reminder that life is richer when sprinkled with a dash of sass.

Margaret is survived by her beloved brother, Andrew Erdos (Linda), dear sisters Ann Koman (Ed), and Grace Rosen, cherished grand-daughter, Rachel Franklin (Eduardo), and many nieces, nephews and friends.
