It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margaret Elaine Tyson on May 31, 2026. While our hearts ache with her loss, we are grateful for the years we shared and the love she gave so freely.

Elaine was the heart of our family. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome, loved, and important. Whether through her comforting words, her warm embrace, a home-cooked meal, or simply her presence, she brought comfort and joy to those around her. Her love was constant, unconditional, and evident in everything she did.

She taught us the value of kindness, hard work, faith, and compassion. She celebrated our successes, stood beside us through our struggles, and never let us forget how deeply we were loved. The lessons she shared and the example she set will continue to guide us throughout our lives.

Her laughter, wisdom, and generous spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by her siblings Richard Connor and Linda Denison, her children Nita Sudderth and spouse Mark Schleuse, Elizabeth Ann Conrad, Janet Groves and spouse Greg Groves, Apryl Thomas and spouse Timothy Thomas, 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by George Connor her father, Martha Isabel Hix her mother, Brian Conrad her son and siblings Frank Connor, Claire Baker and Ellen LaFoy.

Although we can no longer see her smile or hear her voice, we carry her with us every day in our memories, in our traditions, and in the love she planted in our hearts. Her life was a gift, and her legacy lives on through the family she loved so dearly.

We will miss her beyond words and love her forever.
