Funeral services for Mark Anthony Boddie will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 11am at Elmont Baptist Church, 13999 FM 121, Van Alstyne, TX  75495.  Mark passed away on March 22, 2024 in Hohenfels, Germany.

Mark was born November 18, 1959, in Sherman, Texas to the late Willie and Shirley Boddie.  Mark was a graduate of Van Alstyne High School and East Texas State University (now Texas A&M-Commerce).  After college, he served in the U.S. Army and worked on military contracts with various companies.

Mark was preceded in death by his wife Maria, parents, brother Ricky, sister in-law Pam, and nephew Trey.

Mark leaves precious memories with his brothers, Shane, Durant, OK; Jeff (Heather), Elkins, AR; sisters Robin, Frisco, TX; and Michelle (Reginald), Shreveport, LA.  Nephews Jacob, Jeffrey, Miles, Sean, and Malcolm; Nieces Shanda and Destinee, several great nephews, nieces; aunts, uncles and cousins.
