IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mark Wayne
Frazer
December 31, 1954 – March 13, 2026
Mark Wayne Frazer, 71, of Sherman, Texas, passed away suddenly on March 13, 2026. He was born on December 31, 1954, in Red Bud, Illinois.
Throughout his life, Mark valued learning and personal growth. After attending Salinas High School, he continued his education at Hartnell College, East Oregon State University, and Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. A talented athlete, Mark was once drafted into a minor league baseball organization; however, an injury brought his promising pitching career to an untimely close. Over the course of his professional life, he gained experience across several fields, including banking and finance. Demonstrating both initiative and entrepreneurial spirit, he founded two insurance agencies. In the final three years of his career, he found his true calling with Get Roofed, where he served as a National Commercial Roof Coating Sales professional, and where his talents and passion were especially evident.
On June 15, 2008, Mark married Angela Frazer in Galveston, Texas. Together they built a life grounded in love and faith. Mark was an active member of Sherman Bible, where he found fellowship and spiritual encouragement.
Mark loved playing golf and softball, and he found great joy in spending time with those he loved. He also had a generous spirit and cared deeply about helping children through support of St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
He leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory always: his wife Angela Frazer and his children, Shane & Ashley Gibson and granddaughter Madeline, Troy & Chelsea Frazer and grandchildren, Matthew & Olivia, Crystina Pyle and grandson Nathan, Angelica Frazer & Colton Aleman, Autumn & Dylan Frazer-Harmon and granddaughter Isabella. His family also looks forward to welcoming two more granddaughters this September, a reminder that his legacy continues. He also leaves behind three sisters, Linda & Greg Laymon, Victoria Frazer, Teresa & Steve Gaebelein, and several nieces and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Eugene Frazer, his mother Barbara Ann (Braun) Frazer and his sisters, Angel Martinson and Beth Frazer-Wibben and his prior wife, Denee Frazer.
Mark's life touched many, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be laid to rest at West Hills Cemetery in Sherman, Texas.
