Marnie Bethke

Sherman- Graveside services for Marnie Roy Bethke will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, July 10 at West Hill Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted with funeral services under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home. Mr. Bethke, 65, passed away Thursday, July 6 at his home in Sherman.

Marnie was born July 27, 1951 in Baker, Oregon to the late Myron and Eunice (Schon) Bethke. He proudly served in the US Army. On September 13, 1975, he and Sherry Hill were married in Noel, Missouri. Mr. Bethke was employed at Johnson and Johnson for 26 years. In his free time, he enjoyed watching western movies and spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Bethke is survived by his wife Sherry of Sherman; daughter, Lee-Ann Purtthipatkool and her husband Tatchai "Noom" of Allen; two grandchildren, Kaylee and Bailey Purtthipatkool; sister, Schen Callahan of Port Townsend, WA; sister-in-law, Billie Whiteley of Berryville, AR; nephew, Chris Lindsey and wife Donisha of San Diego; niece, Renee Lindsey of Berryville; and his beloved dog, Dazey.

Marnie was preceded in death by his parents and his aunt, Margie Greene.
