Megan Lois Hixson, age 47, of Sherman, Texas, passed away June 23, 2026 in Sherman, Texas. She was born March 6, 1979 in Lubbock, Texas. She was raised by loving parents Wayne and Regina Realy.

She attended S&S ISD and dedicated her life to helping others with a career as a pharmacy technician. She was known for lighting up every room she entered and always having a smile on her face. Megan brought joy to others through her baking and her crochet, both of which she excelled at. Coworkers at Baylor Scott and White were always tickled by her love of shoes and ability to match her scrubs to her Converse. Her positive attitude and colorful personality became her trademark, and many friends and family relied on her for advice, a shoulder to cry on, and a good laugh. She is survived by her loving husband, Daryl Hixson; brother Jason Walls; her two children, Alyssa and Pierre; and her beloved dog, Murphy. Megan will be remembered for her joyful presence, intelligence, and her ability to bring light to any situation. Her memory will live on through her family, friends, and anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
