Melba Jean Howard, 80, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025, in Denison, Texas. Melba was born on September 2, 1945, in Sherman, Texas. She is the daughter of David. W. Beall and Mary Evelyn Beall Anderson. She worked at Texas Instruments and Whistle Stop Car Wash as a cashier. Melba was a member of North Union Street Church of Christ, and she loved spending time with her family.

Melba is preceded in death by her parents, David and Mary Beall, her son Steven Howard, and brother-in-law Wayne Taylor.

She is survived by her sons, Rick Howard and Wife Kim of Bonham, Texas, Michael Howard and wife Jana of Whitesboro, Texas, Grandkids Amber Kirkland of Lucas, Texas, Colby Howard and wife Lauren of Sherman, Texas, Jayce Howard and wife Casey of Whitesboro, Texas, Carson Howard of Bonham, Texas, Brenna Howard of Whitesboro, Texas, Marlee Howard of Whitesboro, Texas, Emery Howard of Bonham, Texas, Sister Barbara Taylor of Whitesboro, Texas, brother David Beall of Denison, Texas and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Waldo Funeral Home. Mike Bentley will officiate.
