Michael Dean Blair Sr., born on December 25, 1963, in Durant, Oklahoma, passed away on May 21, 2025, in Sherman, Texas. Michael grew up in Durant, Oklahoma before settling in Sherman, Texas. A devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, Michael could make anyone laugh with his playful sense of humor.  For Michael, family was truly everything; he loved us more than anything. This profound devotion was evident in every facet of his life.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Emma Hodges Blair, and his five children: Michael Dean Blair Jr., Kyle Brandon Blair, Chase Ryan Blair, Erin Blair Prochaska, and Matthew David Blair. He is also survived by his sister, Cathie Lynn Neuhaus. Michael was a loving grandfather to nine grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his dear mother, Betty Blair.

Michael was a compassionate husband and father with a deep appreciation for art and storytelling, especially from the imaginative comic book worlds of DC, Marvel, and beyond. He was an enthusiastic sports fan, proudly cheering on his favorite teams: the Denver Broncos, Dallas Stars, and Dallas Mavericks. Beyond his personal passions, he was deeply committed to his children's education, actively coaching their baseball teams when they were younger, always cheering them on and guiding them. He enjoyed the simple aspects of life, never asking for much, but always wanting to give to others.
