Funeral services for Michael Scott Harlan, 39, of Richardson, TX will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, June 23, 2008 at the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel.

Rev. Randy Reddell of the Central Christian Church of Sherman will officiate the services and burial will follow at the Cedarlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Sherman. He passed away on June 20, 2008 in Richardson, TX.

Michael graduated from Westwood High School in Austin, TX. He worked as a Self Employed Building Contractor. Michael was loved and embraced by his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his mother Georgia Ann Bradley of Richardson, TX, father Vernon Harlan and his wife Peggy of Pottsboro, TX, one brother Matt Harlan and wife Darlyne of Cedar Park, TX, two sons Cody Harlan and Caine Harlan, one daughter Chelsea Harlan, grandmother Lily Harlan of Sherman, TX three aunts, Sandra Archer and husband Mickey of Garland, TX, Cheryl Riley and husband Steve of Richardson, TX and Elaine Agather and husband Neils of Dallas, TX two uncles Jerry Harlan and wife Debbie of Sherman and Melvin Harlan of Sherman. He is also survived by his cousins Brad Riley and wife Debbie of Allen, TX, Todd Riley and wife Maurisa of Benbrook, TX, Jennifer Whaley and husband Kevin of Richardson, TX, Luke Archer of Garland, TX, Bradley Agather and Lorene Agather both of Dallas, TX, Don and Lee Harlan of Denison, TX, Mary Martha Russell and husband Paul of Plano, TX, E.V. Harlan and wife Carrie of Sherman, TX, Scott Harlan of Sherman, TX and several second cousins and a host of friends. Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents George and Lorene Bradley and E.V. Harlan.

Family night will be on Sunday, June 22, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, TX.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Michaels children's trust fund in care of Elaine Agather at J.P Morgan Securities Inc. mail code TX 1-2966 2200 Ross Ave. 10th floor Dallas, TX 75201.

Pallbearers will be Brad Riley, Todd Riley, Luke Archer and Kevin Whaley.
