IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nancy Clarke
Stogner
September 15, 1938 – September 11, 2024
Nancy Clarke Stogner went to be with her Lord on September 11, 2024. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas on September 15, 1938 to Lucille White Clarke and Walter H. Clarke. Nancy was an Arlington Heights High School alum and continued her education at The University of Oklahoma and Texas Christian University. She was married to Louie Grey Stogner Jr until his death in 2001. They had three sons, Grey (Mona), Dan (Karen) and Brad (Missy).
Nancy and Lou moved to Sherman in 1964 where they raised their family and had many dear friends. Nancy Stogner was a true servant. She was loved and respected by so many as a world class wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. Her greatest joy in life were her family and friends and her Lord Jesus Christ who she loved and served each day of her life as well as The First Baptist Church of Sherman.
She was so proud of her grandchildren Tayler Stogner Lee (Hunter), Darby Stogner, Shelby Stogner Mayer (Kyle), Dalton Stogner (Hayley), Blake Stogner, Hailey Stogner, Avery Stogner Rohr (Michael), Austin Stogner (Sheridan), Caroline Stogner and Carson Stogner.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Dan and Johnnie, sister Bobbie and her husband Lou. She is survived by her brother Ray and many nieces, nephews and her great grandchildren, Meyer and Sloan Lee, Reed Mayer, Beau Clarke Stogner and Baker Stogner.
The family wants to thank the staff at The Preston of the Park Cities and her special caretaker Cheryl Givens.
Our world is a better place because Nancy Stogner was here and she did hear the words—well done, good and faithful servant.
