Nelda Stone Allison passed away in Denison at the age of 90. She was married to the late Marion Allison of Howe for 67 years before he passed away January 1, 2019. They made their home in Howe, TX all their married life.
Nelda was employed for 28 years at Burlington Industries in Sherman, TX before the plant closed in 1986. She then went to work for the independent bank in Howe, TX for 13 years, retiring in 1999.

Nelda's love of children kept her working in the church nursery for 40 plus years where she had been a member since 1946.

Nelda was preceded in death by her husband Marion Allison and her mother, Mrs. Antha Stone Clement, and stepfather Arlie Clement of Sherman, TX.

Nelda is survived by her two children, Debbie and husband Lenny Gray of Pilot Point, TX, Steve and wife, Sherry Allison of Howe, TX, four grandsons and their wives, Brad and Melissa Gray of Blanchard, OK, Brent and Margot Gray of Pilot Point, TX, Eric Allison of Howe, TX, Troy and Jennifer Allison of Howe, TX, eleven great grandchildren, Skyler, Landry and Cooper Gray of Blanchard, OK, Truitt, Bennett and Ellyn Allison of Howe, TX, Zoey and Reece Gray of Pilot Point, TX, Haylee, Kenzie and Levi Allison of Howe, TX and step great great grandchildren Kaitlyn and Hayden of Howe, TX.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Howe, TX. Burial will follow at Akers Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, November 15, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Waldo Funeral Home.
