Graveside Services for Norma Ford, age 81, of Sherman, Texas will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 3:30 p.m. at Hall Cemetery in Howe, Texas. The family will receive friends at Waldo Funeral Home on October 26, 2024, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. before heading to Hall cemetery for graveside services.

Norma passed away Monday, October 21, 2024 in Sherman, Texas. She was born June 9, 1943, the    daughter of Carl B. McBee and Audra Isabell Easley McBee. Norma loved spending time with family and grandkids. Norma retired from Sherman Wire after 35 years. She married the love of her life; Jimmy M. Ford and they were married 39 years.

She enjoyed cooking for the family, and she was a caregiver when needed. She was an amazing, beautiful woman. Norma was selfless, strong, independent, stubborn and strong-willed. She fought a good fight.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Audra McBee, brother, Jerry Mac McBee and her husband, Jimmy Ford.

She is survived by her daughter Sharon and husband David Swindell of Sherman, son Scott and wife Robin Ford of Sherman, 3 grandchildren, T.J. and Emily Tazelaar, Tyler Towne, and Jordan and Trever Wann. 6 great-grandchildren Avery, Addison, Delilah, Benton, Kenny Jane, and Hudson.

The family wants to thank VNA Hospice and Palliative Care- Barbara Nealon, RN, Tori Jones, Araba McKinney and Dr. Sumbul Islam.
