IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Oralia Rosalie
Brown
February 6, 1944 – February 21, 2026
Oralia Rosalie Brown, 82, passed away on February 21, 2026. She was born on February 6, 1944, in Capulin, New Mexico, to Sixto and Victoria Moya Garcia.
Oralia was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was centered on her family. She was always there for her children—Paula, Roberta (Ralph), Michael (Eileen), Marcus (Divina), Phillip, and Patrick—no questions asked. She remained lifelong friends with her first husband, Anthony Ramon Armijo, until his passing.
She was a proud grandmother to Christopher, Nicholas, Isabella, Michelle, Jessica, Alex, Brianna, Matthew, Gibby, Sophia, Eddie Boy, Jason, Joseph, Jasmine, Darby, Stevie, Bruce, and Amelia.
Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Oakland, Benjamin, Morgan, Leira, Kieran, Talia, Terrance, Camila, Jayden, Jordan, Eli, Nora, Novalee, Raiden, Phoenix, Briley, and Briggs; as well as her great-great-grandchildren, Elias and Eliana.
Oralia was a talented and hardworking woman who owned her own restaurant, where she shared her love of cooking. Her family loved her raspberry squares and rice pudding.
She was incredibly creative and resourceful, able to make or fix anything on her own without hesitation. Strong, stubborn, and independent, she never waited for someone else to get the job done.
Her sense of humor and quick wit brought laughter and surprise to everyone who knew her.
She loved to talk about her years growing up in New Mexico and held a deep love for her foster mother, Cecilia Jacquez.
She is survived by her sister, Louise, and her brother, Floyd. She is preceded in death by her sister Velma and her brothers Marshall, Joe I, Joe D, Joe M, Floyd, and Eddie. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
