IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Pamela
Henderson
August 10, 1958 – March 16, 2025
In Loving Memory of
Pamela Lynn Cardenas Henderson "Pippa"
1958 – 2025
Pamela Cardenas Henderson, known affectionately as "Pippa" to her loved ones, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, March 16, 2025. Born on August 10, 1958, in Kilgore, Texas, she was the beloved daughter of Patsy and Perry Henderson. A proud graduate of Denison High School, Pam later attended Texas Tech University, where she began her lifelong commitment to service and education.
Pamela was the proud mother of two wonderful sons, Austin and Andrew, to whom she devoted her heart and life. She worked tirelessly to support her boys, even returning to college later in life to earn her degree in special education. For the past 25 years, she made a profound impact on the lives of countless children with special needs, offering them love, support, and guidance.
Pamela's love for her family extended beyond her sons. As "Pippa," she cherished time spent with her seven grandchildren, whose visits brought her immeasurable joy. Whether cheering for Austin and Andrew on the football field or hosting family gatherings, Pam's warmth and love were felt by all who knew her.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Patsy and Perry Henderson, and her stepfather, Bill Robbins. She is survived by her two sons, Major Austin Cardenas, and Andrew and his wife Emily, along with their children Sawyer, Ava, Adaline, and Andrew Jr. She is also survived by her sisters Patty Riddels and husband Cameron, Penny Spracklen and husband Paul, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members, including her seven grandchildren and numerous beloved friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Cedarlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 5805 Texoma Parkway, Sherman, Texas 75090, where we will gather to celebrate Pamela's beautiful life. The viewing and registry book will be available from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on the same day at Waldo Funeral Home, or condolences may be signed online at www.waldofuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Special Angels Foundation at specialangelsfoundation.org, a cause close to Pamela's heart.
Pamela's spirit, kindness, and love will live on in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
