Patricia Ann Dooley, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother; retired business owner, hair stylist, and hair instructor for over 45 years. Patricia passed away peacefully in Denton, Texas at Fairhaven Assisted Living.

Born on April 2, 1939, in McPherson, Kansas, Patricia spent most of her life doing what she loved: styling hair, and being a personal friend and therapist to hundreds of loyal customers. Patricia lived all across the United States, including Florida, Texas, Kansas, and Tennessee. Patricia lived life on her own terms, and was a strong-willed woman, and a wonderful cook. Most of all, she loved life, her home, and her family.

Patricia is survived by her son, Damon Dycus and his wife Strawberry, her two step-children, Christy Walker and her husband Cary,  Tim Dooley and his wife Teresa; 12 step-grandchildren and 15 great step-grandchildren; her sister  Cheryl Walker, and brother Donnie Jones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Doc and Olive Wright, and husbands Ollie Dooley, and Gavin Dycus.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 14, at 10:00 AM at Cedarlawn Memorial Park at Chapel on the Hill, in Sherman, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Wichita Family Crisis Center https://www.wichitafamilycrisiscenter.org/
