IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia Ann
Fuller
January 12, 1938 – September 6, 2024
A memorial service for Patricia (Patty) Ann Fuller will be held at 11:00, Friday, September 13th, at Waldo Funeral Home. Patty passed away Friday, September 6th at Texoma Medical Center. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home.
Patty was born on January 12, 1938 in Roanoke, Illinois, to Melvin and Bessie (Anliker) Schumacher. She was one of nine children consisting of three brothers and five sisters. Patty grew up in Roanoke on a farm but didn't enjoy the chore of helping her brother slop pigs, instead she enjoyed helping her mom with laundry, something she would say kept her from having to go to school sometimes. Patty met Billy Ray Fuller in 1954, at the age of 16. They dated for a short while before Billy Ray went into the US Navy. After the service, in 1956, they eloped in Eureka, Illinois. While living in Illinois, they had five boys. They moved to Texas in 1970, where they had a daughter and two years later, another boy. Patty was a stay-at-home mom while also helping Billy Ray run a family-owned landscape business. She finally entered the workforce when she was 40 years old and worked in the oil industry for Geomap in Plano, TX. Patty and Billy Ray moved to Sherman, in 1992, and made that their home. She found her way into the home health industry and retired in 2010.
Patty was a Christian and loved the Lord. She enjoyed yardwork and gardening, football (especially her Steelers!), talking politics, and watching movies. Her greatest joy was her family, mainly her grandkids. There wasn't anyone who knew her that didn't know about her grandkids! She was loving, kind, loyal, and she loved fiercely. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed all kinds of music. She will be greatly missed by her family.
Patty is survived by six sons, Dan Fuller and wife Dani of Colorado Springs, CO; Billy Bob Fuller and wife Sherry of Luther, OK; David Fuller and wife Kristen of Rockwall, TX; Jeff Fuller of Telephone, TX; Michael Fuller of Shawnee, OK; and Scott Fuller and wife Marie of Sherman, TX; one daughter, Becca Fuller-Kesler and husband Bobby of Sand Springs, OK. 11 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren.
