Paul was born October 24, 1939 in Woodward, Oklahoma to John and Leah (Schillings) Martin and passed from this life on July 3, 2016 in his home at the age of 76.

Paul served our country with the U.S. Navy from Oct. 1957 to Oct. 1963. He was proud of his stint in the military and the service to our nation.

Paul owned and operated his own backhoe and septic tank service in Oklahoma which began in 1970 and worked until his retirement in 1992. Paul came to Luella in 2010 from Oklahoma. He enjoyed dutch oven cooking, gold panning and was a junk collector. Paul loved fishing, boating, camping, woodworking and anything outdoors. His ultimate joy was being with his kids.

He is survived by his son Rodney Martin and wife Norma of Wellston, OK, daughter Debbie Martin Jordan of Ft. Myers, FL, son Shane Martin of El Reno, OK, and Natasha Smith of El Reno; his loving companion Kay Burk of Luella, grandchildren Kaylyn Brook Smith, Skyler Joseph Smith, Chad Posey, Amanda Martin, Jesse Martin and Sheila Martin; brother Don Martin of Glenpool, OK, and sister Carol Ann Martin of Pittsburg, KS, and a step-sister in California.

The family will have a memorial gathering at a later date for Paul.
