Graveside funeral services for Peter Michael Odom will be held at 11:00 AM Friday April 19 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park.  Rev. James Moore will officiate.  Mr. Odom, 66, passed away Monday April 8 in Sherman.

Peter was born September 23, 1957 in Dallas to the late William Jennings Bryant Odom and Wilma Doris (Kirby) Odom.  He graduated from Sherman High School in 1976 and attended Grayson County College and Austin College.  He married Angela Crocker on October 1, 2022 in the Friendship United Methodist Church.  He worked for several years at Anderson Clayton, Mary Kay, Beauty Control, and EMP.  Mr. Odom always enjoyed taking care of people.  He and Angela enjoyed outdoor concerts and playing with their dog.

Mr. Odom is survived by his wife Angela of Sherman; two brother, Billy Odom and his wife Martha of Florida and Rick Odom of New York; niece, Amy Costa and husband Glenn of Florida; nephew, Matthew Odom of New Hampshire; two great nieces, Alanna Yeo and Gianna Costa; and one great nephew, Daniel Yeo; and numerous cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his uncle Pete Odom; and one niece, Sara Odom.
