Philip has been a delightful, extravagant gift from God. A young man of uncommon depth—in intellect and soul, he walked well ahead of his time. He loved quietly, read deeply, and thought clearly.   To know him was to glimpse something sincere, solid, and thoughtful.

Although our Lord welcomed him home sooner than we expected, his life was filled with meaning, depth, and eternal purpose.  Discerning beyond his age, he pursued truth with a rare blend of logic, clarity, and humility. He was the kind of soul who asked deep questions not to argue, but to understand.   In conversations, Philip spoke with precision and grace. In relationships, he listened with compassion and kindness. His life bore fruit rooted in truth as he explored beauty in music, literature, art, and physical training.  His faith in Christ was not inherited but examined, refined, and real.

He is survived by a loving family and countless friends who were blessed by God through him.   Our hearts are heavy, yet we grieve with steadfast hope—for, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined the things that God has prepared for those who love him."

A graveside service will be held Sunday, June 22 at 8:30 AM at Georgetown Cemetery in Pottsboro.  A memorial service celebrating all that God gave through Philip will be scheduled in the near future.  All who knew him are warmly invited to gather in remembrance and in worship.

We will gather to celebrate all the blessings God gave through Philip and express gratitude for the hope we have in Christ.

A lunch reception will follow.
