Piedad "Priscilla" Aguirre

Sherman- A rosary for Piedad Aguirre will be recited at 6:00 PM Thursday, June 7 at Waldo Funeral Home. Visitation will follow from 6:30-8:00 PM. Mrs. Aguirre, 83, passed away Saturday, June 2 at her home in Sherman.

Piedad was born October 21, 1934 in Matamoras, Mexico to the late Fidel Hernandez and Antonia (Almager) Hernandez. In 1951, she and Ramon Aguirre were married in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Piedad work for 30 years at the Holliday Inn in Sherman and was a longtime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Mrs. Aguirre will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, wife, and sister. She is survived by her husband Ramon of Sherman; two daughters, Jane Ojeda of Ft Worth and Rosa Rodriguez of Dallas; two sons, Ramon Aguirre Jr and Rene Aguirre, both of Sherman; ten grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and one sister, Antonia Aguirre of Fort Worth. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; three sisters; and one granddaughter, Elizabeth Aguirre.
