Romona Joe Boyington, 75 years old, formerly of Sherman, TX, died February 17th, 2025, in Norman, Oklahoma.

Romona was born November 6th, 1949, in Lawton, Oklahoma. Her parents were Raymond E. and Geneva (Clark) Powell. She was a graduate of Wichita Falls High School and Grayson County College. On May 10th, 1982, she married Larry Charles Boyington in Denton, TX.

She worked as a retail sales manager at Beall's, Mervyn's, and Sears and was a member of Enterprise Baptist Church.

She enjoyed playing Softball, fishing, the outdoors, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Ramona was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Powell, mother, Geneva Mott, brother, Raymond, sister, Sharon, and her husband, Larry Boyington.

She is survived by daughter, Mary Joe Powell, of Norman, Oklahoma, son, Robert Devane Green of Lubbock, TX, daughter, Sharon Michelle Shull and her husband William of Norman, daughter, Lisa Taylor and her husband Darren of The Colony, TX, grandsons, Jacob Allen, Hunter Allen, Brandon Harrison, Christopher Taylor, Alex Taylor and Jason Taylor, along with several great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, February 21st, at Holloway Cemetery in Luella, TX.
