Regina Cox Hogenson, 62 years old, passed into Heaven on Friday, July 11, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family and beloved pets.
She was born on June 26, 1963 in Denison, TX, to Wayne and Fay Cox. She was a graduate of Denison High School and Southern Methodist University.

Regina worked for many years at The Grayson County Shopper, a family owned newspaper started by her father Wayne, and later as a realtor. She was very active in her church and Bible Study Fellowship program including serving as a leader for the BSF Children's program and Sunday School. She held a deep love for animals and worked frequently with North Texas Cat Rescue.

Regina is preceded in death by her parents Wayne and Fay Cox.

Regina is survived by her son Jaron Hogenson, sister Rhonda Cox, and brother-in-law Nate Ward.

A funeral service followed by luncheon will be held on Thursday, July 17 at 11:00 am at First Melissa Church, 2101 E Melissa Road, Melissa TX.

Flowers may be sent to First Melissa, 2101 E Melissa Road, Melissa TX 75454 - Tuesday or Wednesday 9am -4pm.
