Richard D. McKinney peacefully passed away on October 3, 2023, at Beacon Hill in Denison, Texas.

Mr. McKinney was born to Richard D. Carr and Georgia L. McKinney on April 8, 1968, in Denison.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, sister, Rhonda Barnum and brother, Ricky McKinney.

Richard is survived by his wife, Brenda Susie McKinney of Sherman; Sons, Montreal Linzy of Cartwright, Ok, Richard D. McKinney Jr and Anthony D. McKinney of Denison; Daughters Shaneika Linzy of Sherman and Essence Christman of Leonard, TX; Mom, Margaret Carr of Cartwright, Ok; Brothers, Bobby D. White of Platter, Ok, Corey White of Colbert, Ok, and Edward Corbin of Cartwright; sisters, Brenda Russell and her spouse Duane of Durant, Ok, Remekia Dunlap of Carrolton, Tx and Lisa Cagle and spouse Paul of Tucson, Az; 4 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Richard will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Waldo Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Brian Taylor will officiate.
